Xero is a cloud-accounting app. By integrating FinDaily with Xero, you're able to import invoices, accounts, customers and more.

🔗 Create a New Connection

To get started, expand the Xero configuration on the Integrations page. You will see a Connect to Xero button.

Clicking this will begin the setup process to link your account.

🔗 External User Creating a New Connection

If you do not have login access, you can create a Connection Portal for someone with login access from the Integrations or Connection pages.

Here is a video overview of creating a Connection Portal

You will see a portal link on the top of the Integrations page; clicking this will take you to the Connections page. Click the + New Portal button to create a portal that will give an external user a secure link to authorize a connection to a service on your behalf. Select the service you want them to connect. The Connection Name can be anything to describe the connection, but the smaller the better, as it will be the name of the Variable you will add to your email template. The following three items are used to create the email in the image to the right. Once you hit the Create button, you can send an email directly to the person or a copy and paste link to create your email. You can resend the email and get the link by clicking the PORTAL CREATED button on the Connections page. The red X under the Active Column on the Connections page will turn to a green checkmark once the person logs in using the portal.

🔐 Login & Authorize

When prompted, login to your Xero account and review the authorization message for connecting to FinDaily. Select the Organization you wish to connect. Once ready, click the Allow Access button to finish the authorization process.

💾 Choose Data to Sync

FinDaily will only pull the data you want to use in your email templates.

Once connected, you can select the specific data you would like to use. By default all options are toggled off, until you toggle them on.

Click Update once you have selected the desired options to save the configuration. Then you're good to go 🎉
